Colonial Williamsburg

Today, Easter Sunday, we visited Colonial Williamsburg.  The Governor's Palace was impressive and the Coffee House hot chocolate was delicious.

It was a gorgeous, albeit hot, day.  There were few people (compared to the Georgia Aquarium and Disney World) and that fact only added to our enjoyment.  We'd love to come back some day when we have more time.

Looks like you picked a great time to visit one of my favorite places.

If I could figure out how to endure the heat, in my next life, I'd come back as a historical interpreter/re-enacter/docent kind of person.

We loved the Coffee House. That hot cocoa was delicious. Sorry I missed you being here. It was a crazy weekend to try to get in a meetup.

Williamsburg looks like fun! I would love to see those beautiful gardens and that tunnel thing - so cool.

this all sounds very relaxing and the pictures are lovely. I'm assuming you're headed up towards DC, and it's supposed to be warm and muggy up this way most of this week. Fortunately, it won't be too hot.

Just catching up with your trip. You've had some adventures! We LOVE Williamsburg. I think we've been there 4 times over our married life (18 years).

Your pictures are beautiful! Thanks for taking the time to journal your trip for us!
