Two Years Later - YELLOWSTONE!

It's been almost two years since we set out on our cross country RV trip adventure.  Our last stop was to be Yellowstone, however, the weather conspired against us.  We drove by Yellowstone and made for home.  I justified our decision at the time--heck, Yellowstone is a mere 800 miles or so from home!  Practically next door! We can go anytime!

Well, life doesn't really work like that, does it?  The next year saw work and other obligations keeping us home and away from Yellowstone.  And away from RV trips.  Oh, we took it out once for a weekend to visit the Oregon Gardens.  Sadly, though, the RV has spent most of the past year and a half in storage.

Our oldest is now attending college and working--we rarely see her.  The younger two kids are starting to fill up school vacations and summer with other plans.  They're growing up, in other words, leaving me wondering if and when we'll get to Yellowstone.

Well, I think I've done it.  I don't think our oldest will be able to come with us, however, I've managed to find a week that should work.  We'll leave the day after the dance recital and be back before volunteering obligations start up.

Yellowstone, here we come!

Two years ago?? Was it that long ago? Wow. I'm so excited that you get to take a vacation in the middle of the hectic world of teenagers and college students. Awesome!
